Alegria Sofia

Standing at 16.1hh Sofia is an elegant mare with a super walk and canter. She is balanced and correct through her body with beautiful Andalusian quality hooves. She covers the ground well when she moves exhibiting her Spanish gaits and lovely elevation. Her calm, sweet temperament makes her an absolute asset to the herd.
Sofia has her Spanish passport and will be valorated as soon as possible in this post COVID world.
Her sire, Alegria Valiente, is a leading carriage Andalusian in Australia showing the diversity and trainability of the breed. Her dam is another Alegria horse “Alegria Belleza”.
In 2020, Sofia had her first foal by the magnificent stallion Rayadillo SG (Imp)., a colt “Gundawinda Atrevido” (see Foal Section)
Majestic Mireya

‘Mireya’ is the most beautiful of mares. She stands at 151cms or 15hh. Her quiet dignity and stoicism infiltrates the herd bringing with it a sense of peace and endless possibility. In fact when she was started under saddle, she took it all in her stride and Robyn said it was just a matter of getting on and ‘tootling off’! A testimony to her impeccable temperament. She is naturally collected, true to correct Spanish form with supremely comfortable gaits.
Mireya has her Spanish passport, is inscribed into the Spanish studbook and is valorated, one of only two APTO buckskin mares in Australia. She also carries the chestnut gene and so is able to produce horses with a red gene.
Her sire is the beautiful Picaro PM (imp) and her dam is Alazana De Montarco
In 2020, Mireya had her first foal by Byalee Salao IX a 17hh imported PRE APTO black stallion of exceptional callibre. “Gundawinda Vencedore” is a stunning bay colt foal (see Foal Section)

“Amara” is a resplendent vision of shimmering gold standing at 16.1hh. Her beauty and grace combined with her gentle and sweet nature are evident in the way she walks with such majesty and poise throughout her day. She is a real head-turner with her posture, elevated and correct movement and the quintessential long flowing Spanish mane and tail.
Her sire is the magnificent buckskin stallion Rayadillo SG (Imp) and she is out of Farales PM (Imp).
Amara has her Spanish passport and will be valorated on the next Australian tour to gain APTO status.
In 2020, Amara had her first foal by Rachett’s Impresed (Imp USA), the highly credentialled and successful performance Paint stallion both here in Australia and the USA. This mating produced the striking coloured Azteca filly “Gundawinda Estrella” (see Foal Section)
Majestic Bodecea

Bodecea or ‘Bo’ stands at 16.1hh and is every bit of her namesake who was a Warrior Queen in the Celtic Iceni tribe. Elegant, athletic and with calming, reassuring energy she is a beautiful and eye-catching horse who covers the ground with poise and elegance in all gaits. Bo is inscribed and will be valorated in the next valoration tour.
Her sire is. Picaro PM (Imp) and her dam is EC Jacaranda II.
In 2020, Bo had her first foal from the proven performance paint, Rachett’s Impresed (Imp USA) and produced the beautiful and sweetest temperamented Azteca filly “Gundawinda Brillar” (see Foal Section)
